The Anti-D Titre (Serum) test quantifies antibodies directed against the Rh(D) antigen, commonly used in evaluating Rh incompatibility in pregnancy and transfusion medicine. Monitoring anti-D antibody levels is crucial for preventing hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN) and managing patients who have developed sensitization to Rh-positive blood. This test supports clinical decisions regarding Rh immunoglobulin administration and safe transfusion practices.
