Cardiolipin antibody testing (IgG or IgM) detects autoantibodies directed against cardiolipin–β₂-glycoprotein I complexes. These antibodies are implicated in antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and are associated with an increased risk of arterial and venous thrombosis, as well as pregnancy morbidity.
