Cancer antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9) is a sialylated Lewis blood group antigen measured in serum by immunoassay. It serves primarily as a marker for pancreatic adenocarcinoma, but also may be elevated in other gastrointestinal malignancies and select benign conditions.

Do not eat or drink anything except water for 8–12 hours before your sample collection.
